Dr. Fakhrul Imam's Educational Qualification and Experience Dr. Fakhrul Imam is a highly experienced and well-known Laser Dentistry, Dental and Maxillofacial Surgery specialist in Dhaka. He successfully completed his BDS degree from Bangladesh Dental College and Hospital. Later, he obtained MCPS (Dental Surgery) and FCPS (Maxillofacial Surgery) degrees in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery from Bangladesh College of Physicians and Surgeons (BCPS). To further enrich himself in modern dental medicine, he received advanced training in Laser Dentistry from Malaysia and earned the prestigious Associate Fellow (USA) from America. He has a rich clinical and surgical experience of more than 14 years in medical and surgical services. In his career, he has previously served as an Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon in the Dental Surgery Department of BIRDEM General Hospital, Shahbagh and in various leading private hospitals in Dhaka. He has also contributed as an Assistant Surgeon and Project Coordinator to the humanitarian treatment of congenital cleft lip and palate patients under the ‘SNAD Foundation’ with an international surgical team. Currently, he is a Consultant and Head of the Department of Dental and Maxillofacial Surgery at Divine Mercy Hospital Limited, Gazipur, providing regular medical services to patients. In addition to medical services, he is also actively involved in research work and serves as a peer-reviewer for the Oman Medical Journal.

He is primarily a specialist in Laser Dentistry, Dental and Maxillofacial Surgery Specialist. His main areas of specialization include painless dental and oral surgery using modern laser technology, dental implants (permanent replacement of artificial teeth), jaw fracture or maxillofacial trauma management, and successful operations on jaw cysts and tumors. He is also particularly skilled in the treatment of impacted teeth, oral ulcers, oral cancer, congenital cleft lip and palate, TMJ disorders, and salivary gland diseases. He also provides comprehensive and scientific medical services for all types of oral and dental problems, including general and modern dental care such as root canal therapy (Endodontics), crowns and bridges, periodontal therapy, and dentures.
